Responsible use guidelines
Preludeum is built for helpful, reviewed outreach. It must not be used as an auto-spam, surveillance, or impersonation system.
Scope
These guidelines apply to every search, export, score, draft, and source-platform action. They supplement the Terms of Use. If a customer cannot lawfully perform an action without Preludeum, the customer must not perform it through Preludeum.
Human review
A human must review the original source context, the community or platform rules, the recipient, the intended channel, and the exact message before any reply, DM, post, export, or provider-composer action. A score, rule warning, or AI draft never creates permission to contact someone. Preludeum saves drafts but does not send them.
Lawful basis and permission
Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis, any required permission, a lawful purpose, and accurate disclosures for their outreach. They must honor opt-outs, blocks, complaints, platform restrictions, and applicable direct-marketing, privacy, consumer-protection, and telecommunications laws in every target country.
No automation abuse
Do not use Preludeum to auto-post, auto-DM, mass-message, rotate accounts, evade rate limits, scrape private areas, bypass platform restrictions, simulate human engagement, or run repetitive unattended follow-up sequences. Customers must keep every source-platform action deliberate and under their own control.
No deception or impersonation
Do not hide commercial intent, impersonate a customer or community member, claim to be independent when you are not, use fake testimonials, invent facts, create fake urgency, disguise affiliate links, or present AI-generated text as a personal experience that did not occur.
Platform and community rules
Reddit communities, X, and other source spaces may restrict self-promotion, commercial comments, recruiting, DMs, links, automation, or repetitive content. Read the current rules for the exact community and account, skip a post when outreach would be unwelcome, and stop immediately if a platform or moderator asks you to stop.
Public data is limited data
Publicly visible does not mean unrestricted. Treat handles, post text, locations, community context, and engagement metrics as personal data where applicable. Do not export, enrich, combine, sell, or build identity profiles from source data beyond the intended, lawful lead-review workflow. Do not attempt to identify an anonymous person.
Sensitive and vulnerable contexts
Do not target posts involving health, children, financial distress, employment vulnerability, legal trouble, immigration, political views, religion, sexuality, addiction, grief, safety risks, or other sensitive personal situations. Do not use the service for credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, health, legal eligibility, law-enforcement, or other high-impact decisions.
Message quality
A message should be specific to the source, useful before promotional, honest about commercial relevance, easy to ignore, and free of unverifiable claims. Do not use tracking links, hidden affiliate links, aggressive calls to action, copied mass templates, or repeated messages across communities.
Prohibited uses
- spam, phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, scams, or social engineering;
- harassment, discrimination, doxxing, intimidation, threats, or targeted abuse;
- political persuasion, sensitive personal targeting, or manipulation of vulnerable people;
- private-content scraping, account takeover, token sharing, or access-control bypass;
- activity that violates source-platform terms, developer policies, community rules, or applicable law.
Reporting and enforcement
Suspected misuse, unsafe source matches, platform-rule issues, privacy concerns, or security incidents can be reported to support@preludeum.com. Include the affected URL, steps to reproduce, likely impact, and whether data may have been exposed. Do not include tokens or credentials. Preludeum may pause draft generation, searches, exports, or account access while a report is investigated and may retain a limited incident record for security, legal, and abuse-prevention purposes.
