Terms of use
Terms for accounts, paid plans, buyer-signal searches, AI drafts, and reviewed outreach.
Scope and contract documents
Preludeum is provided by the operator identified in the legal notice. These Terms, the legal notice, the Privacy Policy, and the Responsible Use Guidelines form the standard contract documents for the service. If a signed order form, service-specific agreement, or data-processing agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed document controls for that subject. By creating an account or placing an order, the customer confirms that it is authorized to enter the agreement.
Customers, countries, and mandatory rights
Preludeum may be used and purchased by individuals and organizations where permitted by applicable law. Customers must be legally capable of entering a binding contract in their jurisdiction and must provide accurate account and billing information. We may refuse or limit access, payment, source access, or draft features for a person, entity, location, transaction, or use that is subject to applicable sanctions, export controls, anti-money-laundering or payment restrictions, source-platform rules, or other legal restrictions. Customers must not circumvent those restrictions. Consumers retain mandatory rights that apply to their contract and country, including any required pre-contract information, withdrawal, digital-service conformity, cancellation, refund, and payment protections; nothing in these Terms excludes or limits non-waivable rights.
Service
Preludeum provides campaign-based searches of supported public sources, ranking and review tools, optional AI-assisted drafts, and reviewed outreach workflows. Source availability, provider rules, features, usage limits, and integrations may change. We do not promise a particular number or quality of leads, revenue, reply rate, delivery rate, conversion rate, or uninterrupted availability.
Account access
Customers must provide accurate account and billing information, keep credentials confidential, use only accounts and credentials they are authorized to control, and report suspected unauthorized access without undue delay. Customers must not share access with unauthorized persons, bypass access controls, probe private routes, interfere with the service, or use the service to access another customer's data.
Permitted and prohibited use
Customers may create campaigns, search supported public sources, review and export permitted results, save or hide candidates, generate drafts, and connect supported accounts where the selected plan allows it. The Responsible Use Guidelines are binding product rules. The service must not be used for spam, deception, impersonation, harassment, private-area scraping, mass unsolicited messaging, sensitive-topic targeting, unlawful profiling, or activity that violates law, platform terms, developer policies, community rules, or recipient expectations.
Source platforms
Reddit, X, and other source platforms remain governed by their own terms, privacy notices, developer policies, rate limits, automation rules, and community guidelines. A Preludeum score, draft, warning, or source match does not grant permission to contact a person, post in a community, or use content outside the rights granted by the source platform and applicable law. Customers must check the original context and applicable rules before acting.
AI and human review
Scores, classifications, summaries, rule-risk labels, suggested actions, and reply drafts may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for a particular context. They are decision-support outputs, not professional, legal, medical, financial, employment, or compliance advice. Customers must verify the original post, review every draft, edit it as needed, and make the final decision before any message is sent or opened in a provider composer.
Customer content and outreach responsibility
Customers retain their rights in campaign inputs, corrections, voice instructions, feedback, notes, and other content they submit. They grant Preludeum a non-exclusive right to host, copy, process, transform, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, and prevent abuse in the service, subject to the Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing agreement. Preludeum does not sell Customer Content or use it to train a general-purpose AI model unless that use is separately disclosed and agreed. Customers are responsible for the lawfulness of their content, their instructions, their outreach, and their notices or permissions to affected people.
Data processing
Where the operator processes personal data on a customer's documented instructions, the parties must enter into a data-processing agreement before that processing begins where required. The customer is responsible for having the necessary rights, notices, instructions, and lawful basis for the data and outreach it puts into the service. The customer must not instruct Preludeum to process special-category data or data for high-impact decisions unless a written agreement expressly permits it and the required safeguards are in place.
Plans, prices, and order
The current new-customer self-serve prices are USD 19 per month for Plus and USD 39 per month for Pro. Custom plans currently start at USD 99 per month and require a separate written order. Prices are displayed in USD before applicable taxes. Stripe Checkout calculates and displays applicable tax where enabled; the plan, billing interval, tax, payment method, trial, and total amount shown immediately before confirmation are the relevant order information. Existing subscriptions remain at the price accepted at checkout until the customer changes plan, cancels and later restarts, or receives legally effective notice of a price change.
A customer submits an order through Stripe Checkout. No subscription is created if checkout is abandoned or fails. A subscription begins only after Checkout and payment-provider confirmation. The selected plan, billing interval, applicable tax, payment method, trial, total amount, and the information shown at Checkout form part of the order information. Mandatory customer-protection rules remain unaffected.
Trial
One eligible new customer may receive a three-day Plus trial. A valid payment method is required. Unless the customer cancels before the trial ends, the Plus subscription starts automatically at the price and tax shown at checkout. Pro has no trial. Trial eligibility is checked server-side and is not restored by opening another checkout, changing plans, or creating another account.
Renewal, cancellation, and refunds
Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Customers can manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation from the billing area; some payment-provider actions open Stripe's hosted customer portal. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the checkout, billing area, portal, separate order, or mandatory law states otherwise. Where consumer law requires an online cancellation function or a different effect, that mandatory rule applies. An upgrade from Plus to Pro takes effect immediately and may be prorated. A downgrade from Pro to Plus is scheduled for the end of the current billing period.
Unless a separate written order or mandatory law provides otherwise, fees already paid for a billing period are not refundable. Nothing in this section limits statutory rights.
Plan limits and fair use
Plus includes one active campaign, one scheduled sync per day, up to four manual refreshes per day, 30 days of campaign analytics, and up to 50 public-reply or direct-message drafts per day. Pro includes three active campaigns, up to four scheduled syncs per campaign per day, on-demand manual refreshes, 90 days of campaign analytics, and up to 250 public-reply or direct-message drafts per day. A fresh provider search runs at most once every ten minutes per campaign. Search-source use is also subject to a reasonable monthly fair-use allowance and technical safeguards against duplicate or concurrent runs. Preludeum creates drafts and links to the original conversation; it does not automatically send public replies or direct messages. Limits protect source platforms, service reliability, and predictable pricing and must not be bypassed through automation, account rotation, or other circumvention.
Payment failure
If a payment becomes past due, Stripe may retry collection and the workspace may remain readable. If the subscription becomes unpaid, new searches and draft generation may be suspended until payment is resolved. Payment claims and statutory rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to prevent security harm, unlawful processing, platform abuse, material breach, non-payment, or harm to recipients or communities. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach; immediate action is allowed for urgent security, legal, or platform risks. Suspension does not waive accrued payment obligations. On termination, access ends and data is handled according to the Privacy Policy, any data-processing agreement, and applicable retention duties.
Intellectual property
Preludeum and its software, interface, branding, documentation, and service materials are owned by the operator or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred. Public source content remains subject to the rights of its authors and source platforms.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided with the characteristics described at the time of use. Statutory defect rights are not excluded. The operator is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, an expressly assumed guarantee, product-liability claims, and other liability that cannot legally be limited. For ordinary negligence, the operator is liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation and only for the foreseeable, typical damage. All other liability for ordinary negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protection or other non-waivable rights.
Changes to the service and Terms
We may update the service and these Terms when necessary for security, law, provider requirements, or product development. We will communicate material changes to active customers in a reasonable way before they take effect where required. If a material change substantially disadvantages a customer, the customer may terminate the affected subscription before the change takes effect unless the change is legally required or needed to address an urgent security or abuse risk.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the operator's registered office as stated in the Legal Notice, subject to mandatory laws of the customer's country of habitual residence. For business customers, the courts at the operator's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law. Consumers may use any mandatory statutory venue and protection that applies to them.
